I don't know if I believe the groundhog:D .
Anyway, I need some projects for the spring.

it's pretty close to that, got the piping custom made. He just said it's like my old one, well i never had another CAI so how could it be my old one? lol
Custom Made piping?
WTF doesn't have to be made custom for this car?
i thought you were going to change yours to full pipingQuote:

Custom ones have to be tested by US on our own buck.
I'm still not sure if my exhaust(custom of course), Magnecor wires and K&N filter are all working nicely together.
well what i did is 1. go to the swap meet, 2. buy a intake tubing (the car it was made for is unknown to me) with the filter ($25 what a steal!) 3. use a hack saw to cut some of it and reverse that piece so it faces the other way 4. buy a coupler from autozone ($6) and viola a custom CAI
well when i say custom piping, i guess i mean i had a shop bend some piping for me, i was going to change it to full piping but i havent made a final decision yet
Would be alot cooler and look better if you would have replaced the hole thing rather then only do half the job! I used a Honda Civic ram air that i got from the auto parts store.Quote:

look at the picture...he's using the old intake tube that already has the sensor in itQuote:

whats the diameter on the pipe vs the diameter on the stock intake tubing?
i have not idea......it looks like a 3 inch pipe, the stock is obviously smaller
the throttle body has a 2.5" inlet, the elbow we stuck are pipe into acts as a reduder/sensor holder. the pipe used is a standard 3"
