You guys must not look through this site I have a Turbo Aveo with a 2.0 engine and it is quickly approaching the one year of the car having the Turbo and I have about 10k miles on it and it hauls follow the link listed below.

dude thats all fine and dandy but its a 2.0....im talkin our original 1.6 motors...not putting yours down at all but im focused on 1.6...if i wanted to do a motor swap then i can get a cobalt ss front clip and put that in but that would be a lil more pricey
yeah i dont find it worth while to swap in a 2.0 when the colbalt supercharged 2.2 would not cost much more, and parts are made for the engine too which will wind up making things easier in the long run
Try finding a kit to put in a Cobalt engine in an Aveo, the only thing you will find is one on the NET called The Green Monster and all the work was custom. Putting in the 2.0 was an easy swap not much needed to be changed going with the same thought there’s almost no difference between putting in a turbo in the 1.6 or the 2.0.

well if you bought a cobalt ss, uhhhh i would sell the aveo and not woory bout a swap
forget that, the cobalt platform is like a brick on a roller skate compared to the aveo.
