So before anyone says it, I am a newb. Now that thats outta the way i just got a 2011 Aveo5. Ive been reading alot about the Chromeintakes CAI alot of people are using. Does anyone know if it will fit the 2011 model, the website just has the compatabile vehicles going up to 2008. Thanks.
your a newb, now its out of the way, no you need to modify one.
About how much modification will have to go into it? The simple cutting and shortening pipe i can do but anything else is beyond my level.
i bought a kit for a honda accord.. (i think ben a while) and then shortened one end on each pipe. You also need one extra silicone coupler (or a bypass) to keep the maf in the system connected.
there are pictures and an explanation in my build thread i believe?
I made mine with an ebay cone filter and 2 in sch 40 pvc pipe and elbows... works great and less than 40 invested
