I have an 2004 Aveo with about 130,000 miles, and my clutch is starting to get really bad. I was wondering if anyone had their clutch repaired and could give me an estimate on how much it cost? Any help would be appreciated

do you need labor or just parts prices?
this is another one of those instances where what people will charge you will be all over the place.. anywhere from $300-1000
Labor and parts. I'm thinking I'll order the clutch kit myself, then try and find a local garage to change it out. Any suggestions on a decent clutch kit?
2004-2007 Chevrolet Aveo Clutch Kit - Sachs W0133-1840146
This is very good oem replacement, it can also handle more power then the stock clutch, i've heard it can handle over 200 hp, but i have no proof of that.
For a stock to stock replacement tho, this is A1!

yes sachs is a very good clutch, the only other one i can think of is kinkyllama.. he sells a high hp clutch that fits as well. probably beyond your needs and price though?
I don't think there are too many Aveo's out there with more then 200HP, but my friend used that same clutch, he loves the feel of it and it's still holding up pretty well after all the times he's dumped it!
Are you sure you wanna replace it though? "If it's not broke, don't fix it" - It might be weaker, unless your racing and what every last bit of performance you might as well just keep it the way it is for a bit.
Laugh now, fly later... Damn it feels good to be a Taylor!

if you find "numbers" you could check the 09 had a factory hd clutch option from the factory.. it was $300 on the window sticker. it was recommended for cars in regions near mountains (wv, colorado etc).
