Have you found what your problem was?

I have exactly the same error code P0012 and a Chevy garage diagnosed a camshaft position sensor (Intake) fault. I took the car away because the price he quoted for the part and repair was out of this world...

I bought the sensor replaced it, had someone who plugged into the car and deleted the error code, but the check engine light is back on again!

Is there anything else I should check?
