P0446 Evap Code - Any suggestions

So, I have 3 days to finally figure this monster out, without having to drop $$$ for a professional fix.

The car sat for a year, as my wife and I were going to sell it, but ultimately decided it would be smarter to keep this car, and unload a different car we owned.

I started it every-other-week for the first 10 months, but the last two months, before bringing him back out of the garage, life had been bearing down hard, and he wasn't started for two months.

Had to jump start him, and he came back to life.

Been driving him for two months, now, and he's been strong, but about a week after driving him, the damn Check Engine light came on.

Every time I've had it checked, it has been the P0446 code.

      List of repairs done:
1)Drove him to blow out the old gas.
Filled up twice with 89 octane with Sea Foam engine cleaner.
      Changed oil twice.
Reset light, came back on a day later (three cycles, you know the drill)
      2) Inspected all the hoses under the hood, checked for chew marks, kinks, crimps, blocks.
      None found.
Sprayed air intake cleaner through most of them.
      Reset light, came back on.
      3) Replaced vent valve solenoid (Duralast part # PV497)
Checked hoses connected to vent valve solenoid, blew them all out (read somewhere that critters might make nest in this hose connected to the vent valve solnoid).
Sprayed air intake cleaner through hoses.
Checked electrical connections, looked for crimped/broken wires.
(This one has me bothered the most, because I do not like the way it comes up through the bottom of the car, into the trunk compartment, and then is directly underneath the truck compartment interior skins, and I've had things resting right on top of it)
      Reset light, came back on.

I know this doesn't seem like a lot, but in 6 weeks, between working and taking care of family life, it's what I've been able to manage.

      Any suggestions would be appreciated.
      I have until September 9, 2016.
Then the temp tags expire (word to the wise, if you let a car sit, the tags expire, you just can't renew them, you need to have a car inspection done)

      Thanks, all

      Aaron

You need to find out if the purge solenoid is getting power and is operating. Unplug it and connect it to the old part, and check to see if it moves when powered.

How will I know if it is moving?
If I'm under the car and disconnect it, and someone starts the car, will I hear something moving?
      The purge solenoid?
The part mounted under the car, behind the passenger side wheel well?
I got called into work, today, so I'll have to try this when I get home.

You should be able to feel it while holding, and also hear it as well. If nothing out of either part, then test the circuit electrically just to make sure you don't have 2 bum solenoids.

OK, so additions to the repair project, as I've moved to under the hood.

Replaced the Air Filter (whoa), replaced the PCV valve.
Blew out, sprayed Intake cleaner through a number of hoses.

Following AVGUY's suggestion, started up car to check Vent Valve solenoid.
I could not hear, or feel anything going on, but I did pull the intake hose off, and when I blocked the intake with my thumb, after a moment, I would hear a clicking sound coming from somewhere past the Vapor Canister.

Just so we are on the same page, I also wanted to mention I was looking at the Vent Valve solenoid, not the purge solenoid.
I am not certain where the purge solenoid is located.
I could not find anything that resembles the part at Autozone, called the purge solenoid.

      I replaced:

      Not the purge solenoid:

      Thanks for all the help.
