      pauter connecting rods

Daft Art will have Pauter Connecting rods available for the 1.6. They retail for $788 and we will have them listed for $750.

These are the HIGHEST QUALITY rods available for any motor and the only ones available for the 1.6

That is normally what connecting rods do.

they do not HAVE to be used with the pistons but they would make for a bullet proof bottom end.

the OE rods with their press pins are just fine.

the biggest advantage to the Pauter rods is that they are stronger than the OE rods (even though the OE are forged) and that the Pauter rods use a floating piston pin which is more efficient than the OE pressed pin.

^ I agree 100%. Once the kit come together investment might be needed in these for a drag car.

Maybe if you rip out the back and put a busa motor driving the rear wheels.
