"Hey guys, I'm trying to find a performance coil, now i know that there are universal ones out there but what do i get? What model of coil these cars use? Wich ones should i look at. I already upgraded the spark plugs and ignition wires, it makes a small difference but not as much as if i would have a performance coil. Thanks "

"A aftermarket ignition coil will not work on the Aveo. Check out Daewootech.com The drivers for the ignition coils is built into the coil, unlike all other cars in which the driver are in the ECU. Email Tom at 360 Dynamics, they are developing a driver box so you can hook up a after market coil. "

Ummm.... you can also use the driver box from a mitsubishi eclipse..... it uses the same outputs as our ECU ( positive +5 pulses ) "

i felt this was important, especially if we can find out the year...
