$2500 for about a 60% increase in power? That is fantastic. In my opinion, that price would be fine.

As for the install, easy is good. But I would much prefer a difficult installation with a reliable product rather than an easy installation but somewhat unreliable product.

I'd prefer the sleeper look. I think a car thats putting out maybe 150whp should still look like the sleeper that it is.

Finish I would prefer in this order:
      1.aluminim
2.body color painted/primed (to cut down on costs)
      3.real CF
      4.flat black
      5.designer cf look

For the intake, I'd probably like the SRI, whatever would provide reliable, safe, stealthy power.

Overall, for $2500, I'd really want something that is completely reliable. I don't want to have to be replacing the transmission/clutch every couple thousand miles.

I am proposing a new "Boost" option for the Aveo and even though I can't/won't go into detail yet, I have some general questions to ask you all.

This is WORTH the read, so read all of it!!

If you were offered a boosted option to your car for under $2500, which was complete and added approximately 60whp, would that be something you'd do?

Oh HELL YES. I have a baby on the way and have to keep my car still but want it to be quicker

Would you prefer that this option install easily, or that it was more thorough (even if that adds some installation difficulty)?

Install is not an issue to me...if i can get it boosted and have it work then i am all for it!!!

If you had the choice, would you want a "boost" system to be Flashy, Don't care about aesthetics, or sleeper "stealth" look?

I prefer the stealth sleeper look but i really dont care like i said before if there is a boost option I WANT IT!!! lol

If you had a choice of finishes, would you prefer Body Color matched painted, primed finish (paint yourself), aluminum, Carbon Fiber (true CF, though it may be more expensive), a black "carbon fiber" 'glass (cosmetically identical without the price markup), the "designer" Carbon/Kevlar colored weaves, or just a flat/matte black?

I love carbon fiber but the price sucks...so the fake CF would be sweet for me

On an intake design, would you prefer Ram air, Cold Air, GOAT intake (scoops air into the airfilter, similar to a Ram/Cold Air hybrid), Short Ram airbox, OEM look airbox, or a combination of these options?

Cold Air is what i would want i like it better than any of the rest.

Thanks everyone...So far I'm loving the responses. I'm working on the design, which will honestly give most of the finish options a possibility, but the "Sleeper" look intake seems to be the favored option. Thsi will be good because it utilizes the stock size K&N filter, so replacement is easy and cheap.

I would say YES, start saving, as this kit will be unique, because you don't HAVE to buy it all at once, but can do it piece-by-piece as finances allow. Best part...Most pieces will have full function capabilities whether you are N/A or add the boost" option later.

      so this is tuneable correct...???...???

and u say u can buy pieces as u go, meaning if my goal was only 140whp, i wouldnt have to buy the whole kit to reach this goal?

also would this be a quiet setup where if someone pulled next to me, it would be sort of an unexpected for a car like ours to just suddenly launch like a bat out of hell? cus that would be sweet i mean granted it already wouldnt be expected but i think u know what i mean.

also how many peices is this kit (main functioning pieces)?

sorry for the silly questions, clarification tho.
You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

Can't answer all the questions yet mike...but most of your concerns will be taken care of with this kit...Sleeper stealth, tunable HP gains, and yes it will be a fully tunable kit.

I would hope its tuneable or else you can count on some blown motors lol. I don't see what part of the kit you could leave out for 140whp, unless maybe the intercooler, but I wouldn't reccommend it.

I know I'm not on this forum that much, but having dealt with the issues of custom turbo kit for my car, I see you haven't mentioned anything about fuel and ignition. What are your plans for that critical area?

I don't quite get what you are saying here. That you can buy the charge piping and intercooler and use it as a cold air intake until you can afford the rest??
