We can get headers from xiogary. ???
x2, well pre 09 guys, even getting one done by that company would cost about the same or more as xiogary's header is shipped.
and the build quality probably would be the same, and it would NOT be built by someone with an aveo.
I think he meant turbo manifold. It can be done. But do note, I do not own a garage. So items made in limited quantity is always costly due to "economy of scales". The short manifold I just created can be modified to fit a t3/t4 flange or t25/28 flange of a turbo.
xiao please send me the lowest price you can shipped to 13126 in the USA please and also your PP info i think i want the longer header with whatever 02spacers needed.....Quote:

ill have to buy another one soon too
even so. to have you, as a member of the boards, and an aveo owner, doing quality control on the pieces you sell is more than a buyer would get from many of the big name manufacturers in the US that produce headers etc, but outsource to work to your region on the world.Quote:

You'd have more money if you didn't spend it all :lol:Quote:

You mean 09 Cruze or Aveo?Quote:

the 09 aveo, with the 1.6 eco-tech (in the us). header would be nice, i think it has the flange of the other header in a pair of headers picture you posted. but a picture and not measurements does no good.
ive not seen any pics of the 09 manifold yet, without the heatsheild, the lengths would problay be a little differenet but then again, they might be the same :P
without removing the heat shield the flange is different because we dont have the extension on the end, and it looks like triangular bolt pattern around each pipe.
dam, well i guess he will have to make some :P
I would love a header for my 09', but we can't really run them here. Your car will never warm up at -60*F. It's bad enough in the winter I have to cover my whole radiator with cardboard.
couldn't you put a header on the then reattach the heat shield? i know some vw headers already come with the provisions. but the you would have performance without sacrificing the heat riser.
on xiaogoys headers, i dont think the heat shield fits back on, though just get a ton of header wrap :P
you would need to weld nuts to the header to bolt the heat shield back on.
lol i think you should stick with stock for now wolf, sounds like too much work :P
no wonder you bought an auto, your lazy.
:P
well and plus i dont have a place to work on my car anymore and or any tools lol, all i got is a flathead screwdriver right now
I don't understand why a header has anything to do with engine warm-up. I can see the cat heating slower, because the exhaust isn't baking in the cast iron. Just some random thoughts.Quote:

I just went to the showroom to take a look at the new 09 1.6 Aveo and 09 1.6 Cruze. The header I am selling fit both. Its the same engine block. Only the 09 1.8 cruze has a different engine block and the header doesnt fit.
Yes the heat shield can be attached, but why do you need that?
lol wolf gets too cold :0
so i was right for a change about the headers lol
its not the same engine here in the us. i will take pictures tomorrow.
damn i thoght i was right
The stock exhaust manifold is restrictive. It holds heat and exhaust flow where as a header is thinner-walled and very free-flowing. It also lets off a lot of heat right at the downpipe. I guess with a lot of header wrap it could be cured, but with the outside temp. vs. the high heat of the exhaust you would most likely start to see cracks in the head flange and the connecting flange after the first winter up here. I know from experience. My s10 has headers with lots of wrap on them. They haven't cracked yet and I put a 195*F thermostat in it to help heat up.Quote:

to all who have xiaogary's header, is it worth the near 400 bucks. how are the gains in overall performance.
it was worth the 400 just holding the headers in my hands...and thats all i could do with them

Do we have two?
i would think we do not have two cats. because on EVERY set up with more than one car that i have seen, the second O2 sensor is after the 2nd cat. So i would think that thing that looks like a second cat is a resonator, spark arrestor, or muffler of some sort. Either way...
Only one cat directly under the short cast iron manifold. The second one under the middle of the car is a muffler (straight thru).
i only have the cat and a magnaflow muff on my car
