Please help me exhaust issues :/ (cat)

My car started to make a loud sound. So I got under it today and where the round canister thing is after the manifold. It's loose on the bottom part of that. I put some vice grips on it to hold it together. what are my options for fixing/modding this... Looking to spend as little as possible. Any help is GREATLY appreciated..

Take it to an exhaust shop and see if they can weld it back together for you. Shouldn't cost you more than $100.

There should be 2 or 3 bolts on the flange. Tighten those up

I think this is going to be the best option. because the bolts are there. but the nuts are gone... i'll take to the shop this week.

HAHA. I don't know what he's gonna do with it. but welding it together seems like a great idea.

If its just seperated at the flange, new bolts and nut would be the best fix. No reason to weld it. I thought you meant it broke after the cat, which is just a pipe.
