Thanks man, im not out to make a race car, it never will and can never be. But it sure is fun as hell to drive a boosted Aveo lol

The stock D20 (2.0L transmission) can only hold roughly 200 lb-ft of torque at the wheels, whp depends on your tune.

With the way my setup will be, im expecting the power to be around 230 whp and ill try not to push over 215 wtq, hell i could have 250+ whp if i had an electronic boost controler to keep the torque curve flat at high rpm by increasing boost more as the engine revs more. HP is only a measurement derived from torque, the real number you need to watch out for is torque, thats the transmission killer!

As far as 1/4 mile times go, i should be in the 13's imo, won't know until i give it a shot. But definitely low 14's thats for sure.

And is there anything else I can do to boost hp? (Without putting in like NOS and fast n furious **** in it.)
see in garage my car and you will see my new air filter.and if you have egr occure it!not so much to do more, but the filter makes you to feel it huge.also, think about think, drive in a sport way and keep in 3000 as an normal usage for it!this is not a bad advise is an usual advise for using your car

Nemasys, didn't you end up getting a Mazda or something? I might be confusing you with someone else though. Is the Aveo running and healthy?

      Indeed i bought a 2010 Mazda 3.

Having a second car makes it much easier to work on the Aveo. As it stands, the engine is taken appart, the head has been sent to a shop for a rebuild and resurface. You should check my 2011 build thread in the Videos and Pics section for all the info.
