Pre-Turbo Modifications

joe how goes your turbo proget? and how much fabrication is truely in the process. verses bolt on or plug and play.

Yo! Mckenzie: ebay has lots of cheap universal turbo kits that have everything but the manifold... and bullithed, the exhaust manifold is the only part I think I'll have to have fabricated... even the fuel management might be easier, if this AEM plug-and-play-thingy works! It says it works on my car on their website, and they didn't even have an INTAKE that would "fit" my car... Currently, the turbo is on hold until I find out when emissions are due! See my thread DIY Supercharger if you want to see what I'm doing for now! (I got my rpm needle to skip! Is that good or bad? Jumped 15-20 mph in what felt like 1.5 seconds... it's going pretty good! ; ) Oh, and emissions: I'm in CO, my car was 2008. has "emissions exempt" status now, but does anybody know when my 1st test is due? Tags are in January, so is it January '12 or '13? I hope I can get it out of the way this January...
