So...I just ordered a "performance" (mandrel bent) OEM replacement downpipe/flex pipe for my 2008 Aveo and I'm sure the performance won't be too noticeable, but I want to keep the mid pipe/resonators and add an aftermarket muffler that isn't super loud but will even slightly improve performance. I may add a CAI later but most likely will simply buy the OEM style K&N. My goal is to get a slight performance improvement without dumping tons of money into it and modifications.

Basically I want to replace my muffler but not be obnoxious.

My brother can likely weld it for me so that's not an issue, just looking for something that is approximate size and decent performance without being obnoxious....and I can't seem to find a lot about what people have actually done to their exhaust besides people saying "I added a custom exhaust" so I'm somewhat frustrated
