Yes details please. For example, do they have a jig made up so they can turn these headers out one after another? Where is the shop located?

My brother has made some headers before so I think I am going to ask him about welding me a set for my aveo if I get him all the right materials....

you don't need one... why you ask? Well because the filter that comes on the Aveo is the same they use for the old 4.9L V8 or the newer 4.3L V6. So it can filter and flow more than enough for the Aveo.

if i remember right, he told me it was in the $600 range.

Kinkylama and fabricatorx are building theirs REALLY soon. Like possibly next week or the week after that. Their Forenza headers cost $529, but kinkylama said the Aveo's will be cheaper because it is an easier job (something along those lines).

I already claimed the first one!

Once someone has cams done and ready I'll get the dibbs on that immediately, thats probably the last thing im doing for the aveo.

They do make cams. Intimidator makes/made them. Not sure anymore.
But the specs were on the old forum, and i saved them. I posted those specs on my thread ("Steves build up...").

Why dont you contact delta cams?

That what I'm doing/did. They told me to send them the stock cams, and they'll work on something. I also gave them the specs from intimidator and it sounds like they'll be able to do it.

So Probably monday, I'm going to buy the Stock Cams and then send them to Delta Cams.

From GMpartsdirect.com You can get them for $170.85 each, then shipping is (an outrageous) $75.17 for a Grand total of: $416.87.

But, Im checking with my dealer first, to see if they can match the ($170.85) cams. Then most likely I'll just have to pay tax. That means I'll get them for $362.21

Delt Cams grinds cams for $83 each.

So for cams it will be $582.87, or $528.21.

I had Delta redo the cams on my Impreza, can't say anything about power since I also installed a different 2.0 turbo block as well.

Try http://www.car-part.com for some cams or maybe a complete head.

So how much was it to get those headers made?
