mist the system with water while its running.. if the coil or wires are bad, it will light up.
i forgot about paul's experience.

misting is a good way, or if youre brave (some would say stupid lol) while car is running, pull plug wires off the coil individually. The toyota dealership I work at, we also have a hyundai dealership a few blocks up the road, one of our hyundai techs was trying to diagnose a P0300 on an 05 Aveo for their used lot. I asked him to start the car and I would do a power down cyl test, when I pulled the plug wire for #3 off the coil, it looked like a fire work display LOL, after showing that to the hyundai tech. he had the nerve to ask me if that was a problem or if it would cause a misfire.
haha, ii do pull wires too, but only if you have a completely dead cylinder and are checking for spark.. if its still random multiple, it only misfiring a little bit, some spark still gets to the plug.
ive had my heart reset a few times from a few coil packs..
Ok the only thing I've been able to do is change the spark plugs and wires, I also misted the coil. No lightning storm going on there. But I threw an instant code P0132 O2 Oxygen Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank1, Sensor1). WTF???? Is it cuz I misted water at the coil and the O2 sensor connector is right beside..???
sounds like you need an o2?
