this header will not work on cars with a/c. the flange hits on it compressor. money well spent....disappointed to say the least. out 80 bucks and all the time I have into this thing.
That's unfortunate. I on the other hand do not have a/c and would be interested in buying the header from you. If you are interested in selling it give me a pm and we can discuss it further!
I will sell it however fyi it has big poopy welds and the they don't look the best. the insides inside ports are not the prettiest. if you would still be interested in it shoot an offer for it. id rather see it go to someone that might be able to get some use out of it rather than just throwin it in the scrap pile.
how "much" does it hit? pictures of the manifold? and your big poopy welds?
First of all congrats to dgoody, sorry it didnt work for u. I took the lazy route and ordered a John Ashley Exhaust z16xer de cat header-$360 including sbipping to Chicago. The owner John was cool n the quality is excellent. Yes the flange is a perfect match to the aveo ecotec gasket. I am thrilled hope to have it on tbis weekend.

No luck boomer this is for theEcotec, not the e tec II. Ok rabbit, I need to thank u for your lead on the euro z16xer/18xer I first got the idea off one of ur posts. O dealt directly with John to get this through personal e mails, dude was cool. I took pics of the US-spec gasket and sent rhem to him with measurements, he e mailed me back his specs and after a month or so we traded info for the purchase. I ve also found Opel z series headers in Australia from Hurricane headers but tha Aussies didnt respond as well as John Ashley. Just for ****s and giggles in Greece the is a place called MGI Motorsport that has z16xer( Astra H) cams but they are over $900. Some Euro tuner in Germany,who I beleive has a vendor the US quotes their Ecu tunes for the 1.6 at 143the hp/ flywheel- something neither Trifecta or Jet will quote #s.
