I somewhat agree and somewhat don't....
It's easier to mount to the stock system (stock intake manifold can be used), but in reality the stock intake manifold is a waste because the VGIS doesn't work in boost anyway

$2500 seems like a pretty standard price for any supercharger. i know the basic vortech kits sometimes run into the $4k range. now all we need is a company to produce us in intake manifold...
you've never lived until you've heard zeppelin with one blown door speaker...
I was talking with Audacity Racing last night and he showed me a two speed torque driver you can get for the rotrex s/c's.
That could help them produce more power.
post info on that...i would like to see
Is that eaton a single or twin screw charger?
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far the wall moves after you hit it.
I will when i get back home from work...unless audacity can post the link before.Originally Posted by AVE0SAM

that does indeed look sexy. A tasty cookie to anyone who manages to get this working on an aveo.

so the two speed system allows you to run a slighty bigger rotrex unit because the ratio is 1.36 to 1 in the bottom end and switches over to 1 to 1 in the top end?
