      safc2 installed

I bought a new s-afcII and installed it today. Took about 30 minutes to install. If anyone is interested i will post instal notes and wire colors for the aveo hatchback 5 speed. I can give you other models, but it wont be as fast because they are different colors and i will have to pul up the ecu pinouts. Now just need to tune the whip...

Its a fully adjustable piggyback air and fuel management computer. It intercepts and modifies map sensor signal to allow you to tune the vehicle it is installed on. You can add or remove fuel point by point at every rpm, and adjust it by throttle position. This will allow you to squeeze the most power out of your car that you can. If you add more mods, retune it to have that mod take full effect. A lot of turbo eclipse talon guys run it, honda guys, i ran one on my avenger so i could tune the nitrous safely.

It will display on our cars:
      manifold pressure
throttle position on a 0-100% scale
      voltage
      tachometer
and it will display active air fuel correction

this is the new one that just came out, it replaced the afc2. This is the afc neo. Really, same thing, but has a built in vtec controller for the honda guys, and a color screen.

hmm, so are you able to squeeze some power from the stock engine now? So now we have a way to actually tune our cars for turbo, correct?

right, turbo, nitrous, etc... If you are going turbo, for instance, buy a higher pressure fuel pump, larger injectors, and then tune it with the afc. I will post the amount of hp i am able to squeeze when she gets on the dyno in a few months, im planning on just street tuning it right now when i get a wideband af gauge.
