I wont call you a ricer for that, it works. Thats how most aftermarke parts started any, with "Home Depot" mods then they were improved upon and polished up to what we see today.Originally Posted by manorness7

Thanks, as soon as I insulate it no one will know anyway. I plan on putting some cash away to get a turbo after my warranty runs out so when that happens no more pvc pipe lol
Yeah I dont think PVC pipe would be good to use near a turbo....Originally Posted by manorness7
3 in. PVC pipe is not only 3 in. big, it has a bigger diameter because of the plastic on the outside. It's 3in. inside not outside. I could have fitted a 2.5 in. but I didn't have a rubber/ silicon connector to go to the manifold. There wasn't any 2.5 in. to 2 in adapters either.
Yeah that's what I mean, it's all coming out when the turbo comes in lol. Using the piping that comes in the kit.Originally Posted by y2daniel1981
Here's a picture
This shows that I could not possibly fit a 3 in piece of pvc pipe in the hole. I can just fit a finger in with the 2 in pipe there.
Here's my oil breather I put in a little while back too.
Haha, that air intake is ghetto but it also looks kinda cool. At least it works, thats what I dont understand about car manufactures making parts that are restrictive and expensive when we go to home depot and build a better performing system for 10 bucks lol.

LOL yeah I here you! It is a little ghetto but it gets the job done.
