I am insulating the engine parts so people will never notice what kind of piping it actually is. Actually I got a few comments from friends and they said, "it actually looks pretty good from the sound of it I thought it would look redneck"

I'll post a pic later today if I can.

Oh one more thing I'm a little bit disappointed not having the extreme "growl" like I use to from my short ram, it's almost as quiet as stock now, but it still has that kick in the higher rpm range and it isn't sucking in engine heat so I'm not complaining.
I wont call you a ricer for that, it works. Thats how most aftermarke parts started any, with "Home Depot" mods then they were improved upon and polished up to what we see today.

Thanks, as soon as I insulate it no one will know anyway. I plan on putting some cash away to get a turbo after my warranty runs out so when that happens no more pvc pipe lol

Yeah I dont think PVC pipe would be good to use near a turbo....

3 in. PVC pipe is not only 3 in. big, it has a bigger diameter because of the plastic on the outside. It's 3in. inside not outside. I could have fitted a 2.5 in. but I didn't have a rubber/ silicon connector to go to the manifold. There wasn't any 2.5 in. to 2 in adapters either.

Yeah that's what I mean, it's all coming out when the turbo comes in lol. Using the piping that comes in the kit.

This shows that I could not possibly fit a 3 in piece of pvc pipe in the hole. I can just fit a finger in with the 2 in pipe there.

Haha, that air intake is ghetto but it also looks kinda cool. At least it works, thats what I dont understand about car manufactures making parts that are restrictive and expensive when we go to home depot and build a better performing system for 10 bucks lol.
