i dont mind discussing it in this thread.

the design of the linkage would allow me to make that section sturdy. based on the design however most of the slop comes from the joint at the input shaft and in the shifter itself.

this shorter throw does remedy a good amount of the slop though. not enough to advertise that. but the looseness while in gear has shrunk considerably.

to make the joint in the input shaft stronger, i would say drill out the pins and install a cnc aluminum inner joint. it is currently expanded plastic. I have an extra one i can look into that.
