Short Shifter Interest?

I'll write up a cad file and get a few more longer arms when I order the coilover brackets.

I will refigure the price once I know what the costs will be.

Just as before it will be on exchange with a core charge.

How are you making out with this?

if i actually sat down to write it, i would be having new ones ready for exchange in 2 weeks.

i was planning on doing it in a joint order for the brackets for my coil over end links, which i have two sets left of.

So i will be writing the CAD file and ordering them with those after one more person orders the end links.
(turn around time is about 1-2 weeks) and then i would need a few days to find time to disassemble the core i have, weld it together and etch coat it.

That would include the know what the cost would be, but based on the price per unit for each bracket for the coil over kit, it will probably still be around $60 with a $40 core charge.

I am going to revive this. As i KEEP getting private messages asking. So i am gauging interest again.

Things to keep in mind, this is an exchange item. So i need your stock one returned as a core. Meaning i can only sell one at a time, but that person must return their oem to me to build the next one.

IF i am going to make any (i have a first one to start) then i need interest of at least 5 people for it to be worth the cad file and cutting cost. And even if you express interest you will be "obligated" or passed.. Meaning if you want to say your interested, you have the money when it is your "turn" to purchase.

The core is $50. The modified piece is expect to be about $70 each. So to order, I would need $120 paypal shipped. When I receive your OEM back within a timely manner, I will refund your $50 (longer than 3 week i keep your money to buy another oem).

Or I will build you one outright, for $120. But it is 3 weeks lead time for gm to get me the linkage (thats how long it took last time).

Its definitely not ideal, but it comes out $70 for an actual short shift kit, using the exchange method.

I need to have enough interested to warrant buying the minimum number of cad cut pieces to bring the price down enough to make it worth while and affordable..

I can ship to mexico no problem, if you have a legal address, i will be able to get it to you, you pay shipping though.

I'm interested, but I can't go without my car while waiting for a shifter. I can't do anything until after christmas likely, and that's dependent on finding one in a junkyard first.
