i can't really say any about all thing due to russian cruze is 1,6 or 1,8
we do cheap tuning here in Russia
it helps to increase power from 94 to 101 just with some electronic setings. it costs 100 USD

chipping for a 6% increase isnt bad, that would be like us getting 113 hp at the crank for $100.

the cruze engine has been on my plate recently. the only issue i see is our access to only having the cruze passenger engine mount. the engine bolts to our tranny, the harness should (should) be the same unless us manufacturing changed anything. if you have all the sensors, harness, ecu to plug into the body harness (and pins match), that should be most of the swap. things like flywheel, clutch etc may or may not match.

this is the route ive been thinking about recently. with a trifecta tune you'll almost double the stock hp and torque.

And to add, i think the accessories like ac, power steering, will be issues. i think the cruze has electric assist? as i have not seen a pump on the engine, and the ac is different as well, but that is easy, take the two lines and a measure, and have the ends swapped..
