So who is running a turbo on their aveo's here?

boomer check out an earlier thread where doax uses the stock first gen header with a turbo bolted to it. it almost fits u just need an adapter plate ,which shouldn't b too difficult.

I seen that. it got me thinking lol. It be fun to have a little turbo under the hood. I was just wondering were you would get a custom tune like that Feve is running

ebay turbos are cheap, u will save $ but I recommend getting it balanced. its a $50 insurance policy that it was assembled properly-china

that's a lil small. go with a t25 or a small IHI vj 20

That turbo is small but it puts out 13 psi. lol you don't need a crazy amount of boots on a stock motor, and the exhaust flange looks like it will bolt up to our stock exhaust manifold. that's why I posted it. I would have it looked at like pooh man said if I bought it, because it is a china turbo.

Its the same size turbo 600cc k cars run in Japan actually if it fits our manifold its perfect I think, it would sure spool quick

Just a FYI Garrett on their site rates the gt15 for 600cc-1600cc, good up to 150hp, water cool version up to 200hp

USAFzac I think it would be good for our cars too. You could get the whole kit for around 1000 bucks most likely less. The only thing is how do we tune it??? whats the best way to tune the car after it is all together.
