      Spark plug question

      What is the deal on good spark plugs??????? any good brands 1 post 2 post 4 post? also what is the gapping for the 2004 chevy aveo sadan?????????

      1 post is fine, maybe go for platinum, .44 is the gap

      ACDelco or NGK Iridium are my choice.

      i will never use e3. the less metal on the plug the better the spark as there will be less resistance. thats what i was told anywho.
      You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

      The plugs that came on my car seem to be working fine. I suppose I will probably go back with them.

      I am kind of a simpleton, I suppose. I don't see the numbers in getting super high grade plugs if the originals are working properly. Not to mention, I am not doing the whole high performance thing or any of that.
      4 wheels, 4 doors, 4 cylinders, 8 speakers, and 1 loose nut on the steering wheel driving the car!

      hey gene, i finally changed my plugs at 80000 miles. on mikes advice i bought the NGK BKR6EIX-11 Iridiums. $6 per plug. gapped at 44 and I couldnt be happier. noted difference in gas mileage and slight acceleration increase.

      do remember, his car is practically new, he wont notice much. once he hits about 35-40K miles....

      Well i was checking out what the plugs looked like and i thought it was time to change them. here is a photo of just one of my plugs




      Changed out the Wires Too. the Wires lookd like they where done and probley the OG Wires from 86,000 miles.
