You did WHAT? to your Aveo? HAHAHAHAHA
1 post is fine, maybe go for platinum, .44 is the gap
ACDelco or NGK Iridium are my choice.
2008 Chevrolet Aveo LS sedan - 13,230 miles
2008 Mercury Mountaineer AWD 4.0L V6 - 34,920 miles
2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer LS 4x4 4.2L I6- 95,870 miles
E3's seem to be popular with their 'diamond fire'
I'll add the forgotten zero.... 0.044 is the gap recommended.Originally Posted by y2daniel1981

i will never use e3. the less metal on the plug the better the spark as there will be less resistance. thats what i was told anywho.
You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.
The plugs that came on my car seem to be working fine. I suppose I will probably go back with them.
I am kind of a simpleton, I suppose. I don't see the numbers in getting super high grade plugs if the originals are working properly. Not to mention, I am not doing the whole high performance thing or any of that.
4 wheels, 4 doors, 4 cylinders, 8 speakers, and 1 loose nut on the steering wheel driving the car!

hey gene, i finally changed my plugs at 80000 miles. on mikes advice i bought the NGK BKR6EIX-11 Iridiums. $6 per plug. gapped at 44 and I couldnt be happier. noted difference in gas mileage and slight acceleration increase.
Missing our beloved 1st gen Aveos everyday!
