NGK V-Grove
--edit--
sorry for the double post, but I picked NGK since the guys at Daewoo Tech had a long thread about it and NGK seemed to be the winner.
the 2 plugs i've had great success with are NGK and e3
Bosch + 2, But I want the new Iridium ones.
Fairly confident plugs should be classified as "works", "works, sometimes", and "rarely works"
anything with multiple electrodes I would put into the "sometimes" and "rarely" categories. Nothing but problems with the +2s and +4s.
Iridiums stand out simply because they last nearly (often longer) the life of a car.
If you want "performance" plugs... cut them. They'll only last a day, but that's how you get "performance" out of a plug.
E3 claims to have the benefits of a cut plug, but with the reliability of a regular plug. I have yet to try them.
I am running the Bosch Splitfire.
Did you see anything good after you put them in?Quote:

elaborate on the cutting them thing...
I have the e3's, dont really notice any diff., but what are you suppose to feel from plugs?!?
Don't know but i guess if you do feel something it might be bad like a mis fire it's not big enough to burn all the fuel and makes it sluggish maybe? i don't know this is why i posted and asked i know how to drive a stick or if the tire goes flat and i for sure know that you need a code for the radio if you have an 04 and i know that the thermastat is a big weak link. even the parts guy at the dealer said that to me. spark plugs and spark plug wires all i know is how to change them i don't know what gap they need to be or how big can i go on the wires and can i get them in blue?Quote:

You'll get a day out of the plugs at most.
lol gotta agree with you on that one. They way i look at it is that they're a power recover, not a power add. i laugh everytime the wanna-b-ricers say that getting "performance" plugs add 2-5hp...Quote:

If i were to buy new plugs, for a N/A application, like for my aveo, I would buy NGK Copper cores, gapped to .032-.034. BKR6E-11 is the NGK part number. That is a VERY common spark plug. Most NGK suppliers will have that one on hand, and also check local motorcycle shops, hondas and yamahas run that plug as well, which is where i get mine. They are less than 2$ a piece and beat out the Bosch $6+ plugs.

they are spark plugs guys, hate to tell you but you are just wasting money on good spark plugs unless you have high compression or turbos spark plugs are spark plugs especially on an ageo. just get white ones so they work thats all.
thats what i bought, $1.99 each from SummitQuote:

Iridiums for me. As for the wires I bought the Magnecor ones from Gravana I'm happy with them, so far.
