      Sri

Why are there so many people out there with a misconception that SRIs are better/equal to CAIs?

I think everyone on "here" at least knows the CAI is better than the SRI.

Really? I would've thought the shorter the pipe, the more noise would come out of the intake. I'll have to take your word for as I've got no experience with either of 'em.

I had a SRI and then a CAI on the aveo (back to a SRI as I have not had time to get the pipe back on ;( ), I thought the CAI was a little louder (it sounded a lot better than the SRI though). Either way, don't get a SRI unless you plan to drive through a lake

What about a stream? There is a park in my area that has a stream running across one spot on the road. I have driven through before the CAI. Makes me a very nervous person now though. I stop short of the stream and walk across the foot bridge.
