Hi everyone,

We have a Chevrolet Aveo from 2012 which have had a some issues lately.

Engine light is always on.

So the car was running fine until it suddenly stopped and made error code 84 and 89, and wasn't able to start again until 15min went by.
We narrowed it down to be thermostat and reduced engine power, so it was possibly due to overheating.

We replaced the thermostat and provided the car with a new battery but the issue still persists, though there are no error codes anymore, only the engine light.

Any suggestions would be MUCH appreciated!!
