      it would be a good idea to change 'em too... as well as bearings....and studs and nuts and everything connected to anything :P seriously

      so just say it- steve i think you would need to rebuild your engine. that would be so much easier than tryin to list everything seperately. lmao!

      altho i cant see doin all that just for a piston swap. but i dont know a whole lot bout motors so....
      You can not commit crimes in a Aveo. Its just not fast enough.

      yeah, if you've got it open, might as well just replace everything you have to remove (that doesn't look brand new), rather than having to do it later.
      Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far the wall moves after you hit it.

      So are you saying just get new oem parts or forged stuff?
      Will the oem stuff be fine?
      And if i should get forged stuff, where am i getting that stuff?
      Will the aveo rods work (be strong enough), or do i need the corsa ones too?

      and keep in mine im only after roughly 150hp.

      Im talking to Deltacam right now, and they are saying they can grind me cams for $83.50, but i'll need to buy some aveo cams to send them. I think i found some of those on the net for like $160 each. And Im trying to contact the place brian and potsurfriend got their header from to get me one as well.

      so here is everything im planning out...
      01. 10.5:1 pistons
      02. Medium profile Cam
      03. Header

      p.s.
      I also changed the name of the thread because i opened up a bunch of stuff to talk about now...

      We're building headers in a couple weeks, just gotta finish up a few more 2.0 headers, and lower control arm braces, and I think we're ready for the aveo headers

      Sweet hopefully it doesnt get pushed back! Are these the ones Fabx is making or no? Are they gonna be like the ones Brian and potsurfriend have? Thats the style I'd like to get.

      I believe I'm gonna go with the corsa pistons. Should be picking those up from that guy overseas in a week or so (hopefully)... if not it will be like 2 weeks.

      And PrecisionBoost from Daewootech told me about Taper Throttle kits that are available. The NA engine can get 240BHP with all the taper kits they have (with fuel rails and stuff too). I may just get the basic kit that boosts it up to about 160BHP.

      I thought PrecisionBoost doesn't deliver. His turbo kit turned out to be a bust for one forum user.
