Still leaking cam cover gasket after replacing old one.

has anyone had this problem before ? as the title states i noticed a leak around the gasket so i replaced it, but after a week or two i noticed a small leak still, i was then told to try out some gasket semi hardening sealant so i have done that but now it still leaks from the same ruddy place :S

Can anyone help out with this issue ?

      Thanks Nathan

did you pull the valve cover to add the sealant? and clean/ dry the area? as well as not drive the car for the duration of the cure time?

only thing i can think of honestly is if you didnt put the bolts in the correct order when tightening down the valve cover. Unless you warped it somehow..

Yeah, i think i may have not done them up in the right order, as this leak wasn't the reason why i changed the gasket in the first place, it was due to oil leaking onto the spark plug. :s
