Strange Noise

Well, my girlfriend took the car to take her friend home tonight, and she shut it off and got out to do something with her friend. When she got back in it, she said that it had a very hard time starting. I pulled the fuel pump relay and attempeted to start the car and asked her if thats what it was doing when it wouldnt start, and she said yes. I replaced the relay and it starts fine now.

When you shut it off, you can hear something under the hood like water running and then something will want to start to want to wirr...then everything stops until you start it up again and shut the engine off. All connectors are intact. MY car has 50,000 miles on it now, is there anything that I should be worried about?

Its an 04 LS Sedan with Auto Tranny.

that draining noise is normal but ive never listened for anyhting after that

i've heard the draining noise before as well ever since I got it (not everytime i shut it off, just occasionally). took it to the dealership and they couldnt reproduce the noise no matter what i told them to, heck i cant even reproduce it! it just happens. now as for the whirling noise, i have no idea right now

do you have ac?

The last post was in Feb 07 man... It's been over 3 years sine then. :)
