stupid header...

Ok guys, so Ryan talked me into it. I'll build the stupid header ;)

304l SS 1.5" primaries, 4-2-1 style, true merge collector.
Fully TIG welded, will leave open ended to have fit any type of exhaust.

Does $325 sound ok for this?

Would this be the best specs for the engine?

and also, is there any ceramic coating, or is it just the header... then if we want it coated we have to get it done?

actually, it will be 4-2-1. you really wont need to coat it for anti-corrosion purposes, since it's stainless, but I can have it coated for about another $100.

no ETA yet. I need 3 people minimum to decide to build this for sure. These 3 people will be able to buy this for $250 shipped. This is simply for testing and prototyping purposes, to get feedback. All warranty's apply as usual.

Locally we are an up-and-coming company that does alot of VW/Audi stuff, and potentially a lot more Daewoo stuff. Road racing is our passion, but speed is speed 8)

So the sooner we can get 3 people, the faster this gets done :)

If I actually bought the car instead of leased it, I would be all over both the headers and the strut tower bar.

Keep the stock parts, go back to stock when the lease is up and resell the used parts. That's what I plan on doing with my wheels, springs, and any other parts I purchase.

You said 1.5" Priminaries, would that go into a 2" pipe since that has been determined to be the best sized exhaust?

so the first 3 are going for $250 still? And as soon as the Forenza headers are done being built you can start the aveo ones if there are 3 people?

I really don't think I can pull off $250ea for even the first few, it'll be more than that, I have so much that I put into these. We'll see.
