I always wondered why CVT technology hasn't been carried over to superchargers yet... seems reasonable and very beneficial.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far the wall moves after you hit it.
That lanos supercharger would fit out engine but not in our engine bay.
a rotrex supercharger would be the easiest option...i noticed on some other forums that they are becoming more popular in the tuner scene
Clue me in on what a rotrex turbo is...
basically it is shaped like a turbo but the exhaust side is just a pulley that running of the rpms of the engineOriginally Posted by whiteraven

Okay, so I am going to be brave and show my total ignorance of how a lot of this stuff works. Would one of those "electric superchargers" that can be found on ebay be worth the money? They basically seem like fans that increase the speed of air going in your intake. On the other hand, the also reduce the space through which the air can flow. Do the pros outweigh the cons?
*please don't jump on me for being stupid*
lol ill spare flaming you i beleive they are a waste of money....its basically a hairdry, i mean yes it flows air and work in free flowing air but with the intake sucking air in it just gets in the way and doesnt spin fast enough to produce anything but very minimal gain if any at all.....pretty much everyone on any other forum agrees with this thoughtOriginally Posted by pqaveo
