I remember reading about a guy who made some working electric superchargers, the problem was that it drew like 60 amps at 24 volts or something. Just the strain on the alternator slows you down hehe
I leased Pontiac Wave from September 2006 to August 2011.
electric superchargers are a sham. They can not spin fast enough for any kind of gain. It has the placebo effect that the Tornado Fuel Saver has. More gain is made by a CAI. To get a decent performance gain you would have to get an industrial fan with something like 36 volts. The ones on eBay are 12 motors that you can order from Radio Shack and some PVC pipe that you have to fit. And no draw on the alternator will decrease performance unless theres not enough for a spark plug to fire full effect.
Options:
1. Custom Turbo
2. Bolt on supercharger mentioned in this thread
3. Rotrex supercharger
4. Lanos super charger
I am leaning towards a supercharger. Option 2 would be prefferable. Why doesn't the Lanos supercharger fit our engine bay? And I know next to nothing about Rotrex.

There we go. That's the guy I was referring to.Originally Posted by y2daniel1981

yea your trunk would have to be filled with batteries
here what rotrex looks like...this is from the newer jackson racing kits for antoher car....
looks like it'd be real easy to slap one of those on an Aveo.
