I wanted to know if there are any air intake systems that are available for the 07 aveo5.
I don't know if it makes a difference but i have a 5 speed manual..

There is a $200 AEM intake system and $40-60 eBay system sold by Chrome_Intakes. Manual or auto doesn't make a difference.
2006 Chevrolet Aveo a.k.a. Holden Barina – SOLD
2008 Chevrolet Cobalt SS/TC - SOLD
which would you recommend?
I would imagine that the AEM would be the better buy because its a reliable company, but how does the Ebay one match up to it?

they are the same thing, buy the chrome intakes CAI and if you drive through any floods, then get a bypass for the intake
well worth the $60, got one in my avatar and my "build" page, there is a link in my sig
they arent exactly the same, aem is one piece, black plastic 2.7" bore?. the chrome intakes is two piece metal 3" pipe.
i have the chromeintakes one.
aem is one piece, but it's not plastic. They are mandrel bent 6061 aluminum tubing.
AEM is a 2.5" Aluminum (and sometimes powder coated, depending on your color choice) one piece intake. I've got the chromeintakes one too. XJCasper has the AEM one...Originally Posted by petrified.rabbit

chromeintakes is the better option though i think
which one is the molded plastic one then?
would this intake work? I think that the filter's diameter is too big for the size of the motor.
