those ebay performance thingys (WITH PICS NOW)

i bought one of those 30 dollar chips thinking what the heck its only 30 bucks, just to see if it works, and it really actually does. the only prob is that the hold button flashes and a different orange idiot light comes on. i guess i can try test n tune again thursday night to see "for sure" if it works since i couldnt break 19 this past thursday night. illl also see how ****ty the gas mileage im gonna get is

you dont have to have any tools except a wrench to take off the negative battery cable while you do it. you dont cut or strip any wires the blue things you see are connectors that dont cut any wires so it can be taken off and put on easily.

AND ITS NOT ONE OF THE RESISTORS. THIS SPLICES INTO THE SENSOR WIRES RIGHT NEXT TO WHERE THE STOCK AIR FILTER WOULD BE.

it remaps the air/fuel ratio. i wouldnt put it in an everday driver b/c i lost my fourth gear somehow and dont like running 70 miles an hour at 4k rpm , but i would definitely reccomend it for track use, but in an automatic you wont hit 4th anyways in a 1/4 mile run.

i can definitely tell a difference in acceleration, there is no doubt about it.

i mean im no rocket scientist but i bet it would shave a second mabye a little more off of a 1/4 mile time, we'll see for sure come thursday night.

you can put it in and take it off in about 10-15 minutes.

i also read all the feedback comments before i made the purchase and seeing that 3990 of 4000 were positive with actual results, and some owners even dyno proved it, i went ahead and spent the whopping 30 bucks.

post more info, a link to the ebay page and maybe a pic if you could
Its more fun to drive a slow car fast, rather than drive a fast car slow!

Bah im still skeptical tho, never trusted those ebay performance "chip" or enhancers whatever you want to call em, bought one a couple years back and was a complete waste of money.

Let's see what yours can do BigNasty, i am curious

Sorry to burst your bubble but that is a resistor inside a plastic box, you can reproduce it for like 90 cents at your local electronics store
