The only way it can be done, is with a resistor on the IAT sensor and some higher octane fuel to prevent detonation. Although these motors aren't high compression engines, because they don't use variable timing, I wouldn't try it without the upgrade in octane gas. I'll be trying it soon as I just got a nice OBD-II reader today and monitor the IAT sensor and Ignition Advance.
But first I have to find out how much advance the car really is using stock.
