I honestly just had this done and have the EXACT same problem!
My dealer thinks it is actually due to the TPS (throttle position sensor) which for any other car is reasonable to replace. Thanks to GM they only sell this part as the whole throttle body assembly.
I am taking it to another dealer next week for a second opinion however I think this is the right solution.
I thought my timing was off too..had it checked by 2 different mechanics, both swear on their lives that it is dead on...
my throttle is cable driven so thats not it, im glad even dealers screw up the timing belt changesQuote:
