you dont have to support the engine as the two mounts that hold the engine up are still in there, the torque mount just keeps the engine from spinning with the front wheels. IF you cans hold the engine from spinning or ar not sure if the engine mounts are good, then you better support the engine.

I'm going to play it safe and support the engine....I have no experience with dogbone installs and I don't want any surprises once the bolts are removed.
