      Torqueing Head Bolts

Replacing a head gasket in my 04 aveo and all the specs I find call out using a deflection torque beam wrench with torque of 18 ft.lbs.+70 degrees+70 degrees and +10 degrees. Well I have a 1/2 drive click torque and would like to know if this can be converted to a click style torque ?

Thanks for your reply. I have another question for the board. While I have my cylinder head off I'm replacing all new hoses, knock sensor etc. Easy to get at now. There is a eletrical solenoid mounted to the "H" intake manifold support bracket between it and the firewall. With a hose running up to the throttle body. I'm thinking it's the purge solenoid valve, but all sources on the net say the purge solenoid valve is located above the passenger rear tire. Can anyone shed some light on this for me ? Thanks in advance.

The one above the passenger tire is the EVAP Vent solenoid the one you would like to replace is the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve.
