Well... both, I'd say.
Are you talking about Jason Whitefield's car? Cause that looked like more of a PITA than anything. He had to relocate all the mounts, and modifiy the radiator support to make room for a supercharger...it's do-able, just seems like there's an easier way...Now I wonder if it's do-able with a newer aveo that already has the ecotec 1.6L in it
a swap is a swap, the frame rails mounts are in the same spot for all aveos..
i dont think its that hard of a swap though.. if i knew gm wiring a little better i would have attempted it by now.
Although i did find a company with the wiring solved, just need their harness and their computer..
Does this company have a name? or is it a secret?
i have not found a name, honestly, just a member on a forum. the harness is for putting the lnf into a boat, but retains all emission and the obd2 connector.. i havent searched further other than a few prices for the forum member directly. however he said those price were limited production numbers and would be going down in a few months..
the LNF is highly integrated into the harness otherwise and needs a complete car harness swap to run unless you can defeat that need. the lsj is not as integrated, but also works with standalone because it is not direct injection.
