lol my bad you know what i mean! Any way, my father has been a mech for over 25 years and has built countless hot rods and other vehicles. I have been letting him read some of these posts. To say the least he about pissed his pants laughing. He says maybe 1-2 psi of boost will be ok if you treat it nice. 5 psi with bracing and a tranny strap and you'll still have to be nice to it! Basically you'll need to rework the drive train and do a ton of body and undercarriage bracing. Boo coo $$$$!

well see i guess. cant say much without actually doing it of course. Turboed a leganza and it handled 10psi fine, just needed a tranny brace. but i guess if you want to compare apples to hockeypucks...

If it was me i would release those polyurethane mounts before the turbo kit, its quite amazing how much that little engine moves under the hood, that would help it alot!

no kidding...I put the hood up and started the motor, it does shake a lot. Then **** into gear and it moves again. Can't wait for the poly motor and trans mounts.

haha i almost pissed my pants laughing reading this post...they have boosted lanos before with no problems...the aveo could def be able to handle atleast 5 psi or more with a torque dampener and better polyurethane mounts...its all in the tuning....hotrods are a tad different then todays rice rockets

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far the wall moves after you hit it.
