      Re: Turbo kit/ manifold ?

I am in the process of making a 4-1 turbo manifold custom made for aveo/lanos/nubira 1.4-1.6. If anyone is interested. You can look for me.

Its currently made with a small T3 turbo flange and 38mm standard wastegate flange. It also came with a cover and screws/nuts if you wish to seal the wastegate flange. It also came with the EGR removal function, meaning the flange will block off the EGR gases from going to the EGR valve.

Now its in the final stage of testing whether the manifold with a standard T3 .42/.48 turbo will hit the engine block/radiator fan. I am not too concern with it hitting oil filter since most people will install a oil filter relocation kit with the installation of a oil cooler.

Some pictures. Came with 38mm wastegate flange (and cover + screws not shown in pictures) if not using external wastegate. This is a T3 .42/.48 turbo commonly available in ebay which is meant for EVO III.

Plenty of space for turbo as can see. Currently with 4-2-1 headers.

xaiogory sells a 4-1 header on ebay, but that is it, turbo kit will never happen, I doubt any other osrt of header either, xaiogory said he was almost out of them so I would message him as soon as possible, once those are gone then they might be gone for good

I bought the 4-1 headers off him on ebay last summer and they are great, I have about 11000miles on them and no problems other than the paint is gone on the lower flange, but they are so thick of material that it doesn't matter. Truly high quality craftsman ship. I had the car on a dyno in sept of 2010 and I was sitting at 117 bhp, only an intake, headers and 2 inch exhaust all the way back. The headers kill your torque but the top end is amazing.

I just remembered your car was manual. I was hitting 98HP on 2nd gear in my automatic. I'm really leaning torward a tranny swap so i can get better reads.

98hp is right at the wheel, he meant 117 engine wise (less at the wheel), or I think he did?

Having a car thats stick gives better reads though since the gear ratio is closer to 1 then the automatic gears. Hunter aren't you doing a swap too?

I was considering a turbo on the aveo as my dad will be getting a new car in a few months (probably a chev cruize) and the aveo will be a spare car.

Over here we have the opel corsa b and corsa c now I know one of them share a manifold with the aveo 1.5 8valve that we have over here. I must just confirm what one.

Cant one have a turbo flange welded to the standard manifold? It has been done on other cars over here.
