Valve cover gasket change again!! Tranny atf changed also

Aveo 2012 G3 1.6 (but has the 4 speed Aisin auto tranny). Not a sonic model. Uruguay.

Only 12 months have passed since the last gasket change and too much oil was trickling down the engine for my liking! A drop or 2 of oil on the driveway each night.

So once again change of gasket!! Plus there was oil in the plug wells.

Last time it was changed by the mechanic! Never again - I usually change it myself and it lasts longer.
Plus what annoyed me more was that he did not torque the plugs properly, they were extremely lose!

So hopefully will last longer with less leakage now - usually dry for about 3-5 months then starts to leak just a very small amount. Properly tightened in the correct sequence and torqued. I can guarantee the mechanic just threw it on carelessly.

Tranny atf changed also. Came out nice and clean and filter looked great since the last change. But still peace of mind.
Last changed at 70,000km. Now at 101,000 kms.
T-IV Toyota and new filter/gasket.

Has anyone solved the valve cover gasket issue? I saw a custom metal cover but only for the older models.

Do you have the torque specifications and the sequence for the valve cover?
Just bought a used 2008 with 62k miles on it and going to start with some general maintenance.
