What is the life expectancy of the serpentine belt?

Anyone have any idea of the life expectancy of the serpentine belt on the 2006 Aveo HB? I mean 5 years, 10 years or what in between?
If you have read any of my post, you know I drive SO little, and I JUST had my timing belt and all its parts replaced, finally.
I had the serpentine belt replaced like 3 years ago. No problems then, I just did it because it was like 6 years old and I HAD money then.
So just wondered how long should it last? And if there are any sings of when it needs to be replaced?
Squeaking, loss of power, something stops working,....any indications that it needs to be changed? Thanks.

Life is really all over the place. The best way to tell really is just if it starts slipping which causes squeeling. But, you can inspect them. They start cracking after a while as the rubber gets brittle. However, I've used cracked belts for quite a while and they'll still work on some engines.

Based on your experience with the timing belt maintenance. I would be surprised if they did not do it at the same time.

Honestly. Since the water pump is run off the timing belt. You could run it until it breaks, and then put a new one on..
The "fan" belt on my toyota is still the OEM original toyota belt (you can read it) My toyota is a 91, and has 213k miles.
