Or just take the OEM muffler out and fill the hole with a 1.75" straight pipe and nice tip. I still get complements for my car's sound. Low tone and not raspy :)

I'm gonna do the install myself, I do a lot of autobody repair, and restore a lot of cars. And I hardly let some one besides the friends I trust work on my car. I'll look into the cat back system, and research into that. Thanks!
What would happen if I just replace the tip?
people will think you are an asian chef... everywhere you go it will smell like RICE...
lol probably won't do anything if you just add an AutoZone tip to the stock muffler...
Can't really add a tip to the stock muffler. Tailpipe (of which there isn't much to work with) is bent downwards.
You can cut back where it is flat. There is enough room, and then you can add a piece of tubing.
I just went a put a 20 dollar cherry bomb turbo muffler and to be honest its the best sounding one i've heard. And for only 20 bucks, defiantly a must try. :)
well i just bought a 2.5 cat. for my muffler
and well ive been reading that anything about 2.25 is going to sound like crap
and im wondering how bad would it be?
and would it be a bad idea?
u can always reduce the pipe size after cat to muffler. it dont have to be 2.5 all the way. it will just look a lil funny is all.
best muffler on a 4cyl. i have heard was a vibrant performance. It didn't sound like a normal 4banger rice mobile. ITs black so it looks OEM
