      I have been losing 4th gear when I first get going in the morning, but I have found out that when I pull over, turn the engine off for a minute or so, it works fine for the rest of the day, but I'm also looking for a cure to this problem. I have a 2004 hatchback auto, that throws a P0700 and a P1781.

      I recently changed the tranny filter, and flushed the fluid twice. 114K miles. My cheap HF code reader shows the same thing that a professional Snap-on reader read.
