Where does that blasted crank locking tool go!?

Well, I’m finally tackling the job I’ve been putting off for long enough: Scootaloo’s timing belt service. After lining up all of the timing marks on the ScootaDrive, and locking down the camshafts, I’ve hit a snag on locking down the crankshaft: the location of where the crank locking tool is supposed to go. The pictures that the FSM and the instructions that came with my Gates belt kit are way too vague to pinpoint exactly where, so I’m asking fellow owners that have done this service already (to refresh your memory: the ScootaDrive is the 09-11 Gen III EcoTec engine; RPO code LXV) I’ve got about 10 days before my sister comes back to collect her 2013 Ford Escape that I’m test driving for her (it just had part of its AWD system repaired) while Scootaloo is down for repair. Any replies and especially pictures of the exact location are appreciated immensely.

Remove the transmission to use it.I changed my torque converter input shaft seal and realized it bolts to the engine block and locks the the flywheel.I changed the timing belt without it.
