White foamy oil found in coolant tank, bubbling and overflowing.Lost car heat.PlsHelp

I have a Aveo lt 2010... a week ago coolant started to bubble and overflowing off at the coolant cap.. opened the cap, find out very low coolant lvl plus there’s white little foamy substance around the coolant cap which is oil..put Preston’s 50/50 then heater work a bit then stop working .. brought it to mechanic and they flush out the oil but told me to keep an eye.. I went back because of the same problem .. he said it could be head gasket or engine block problem.. any input? I need help

I am jumping in early on this one, if you took a poll, most votes would be for "oil cooler".
Try a Forum search for "oil in coolant" there lists of parts in the results.

Yep, i agree. Oil cooler. Same thing and symptoms happened to me. Oil cooler replacement solved the problem. Head gasket failure is quite rare in the 2009-2011 engines. But oil cooler failure is almost certain. The internal seals always fail after a few years.

How much is the oil cooler replacement cost? Just so that I have an idea and not just say yes to an overpriced fix

You should check out RockAuto for the oil cooler and pipes and seals:

      https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...il+cooler,2084

Figure about $150-$200 for parts from RockAuto, plus about another 2-3 hours for labour by a experienced mechanic. A mechanic will typically charge you a lot more than RockAuto for parts,

Walmart ...I used two bottles first time 100k miles...now one bottle every oil change....I clean as much foam from reservoir every few weeks.... check oil often... as long as no foam shows up in oil ... good luck...keep rpms below 4k... its an oil pressure problem...higher revs creates higher oil pressure which forces oil around seal gasket on oil cooler
