honestly, just go with a 2". I gutted my first cat and did a straight pipe all the way back and used two magnaflow glasspack resonaters to keep the sound down and get a nice tone. it's still plenty loud lol

it would "kill" your low end torque, i don't want to say turbo lag.. but it would lag until the flow needed by the engine matched the diameter exhaust.
